One Million Thanks | One Million Dollars | One Year
Through the Thank A Million Teachers initiative, Farmers is committing $1 Million to help support classrooms and education programs throughout the country. In 2014, Farmers will be awarding grants of up to $2,500 to teachers all across the United States. They can use the money to buy school supplies through AdoptAClassroom.org or apply it toward professional certification programs through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS).
Farmers also knows that many teachers have big dreams that reach beyond the four walls of their classroom. They envision projects that touch schools and communities in a profound and positive way. The $100,000 Dream Big Challenge aims to make some of these dreams reality by awarding up to $100,000 to five visionary teachers this year.

Post a thank you note to a teacher that made a difference in your community, your life or the lives of your family members. Everyone has a teacher who made a difference. Who was yours?
Make Your Thank You Count By Voting
Any teacher that has been thanked can submit a proposal for one of several grants that will be awarded throughout the year. During the months of March, May, July, September and November you can give more than thanks by voting on your favorite $2,500 submissions. In October and November you will have the opportunity to help decide which of our visionary $100,000 grant finalists deserves to have their Big Dream come true.
