The Thank a Million Teachers initiative understands that being underappreciated often means being underfunded too. With this in mind we have designed two separate grant opportunities. One addresses the everyday classroom needs of teachers and the other is designed to affect schools and community at large. $2,500 Grant Program
We know that most every teacher spends money out of their own pocket for basic classroom supplies and programs like the National Board Certification. The Thank a Million Teachers initiative wants to help. Throughout 2014 we are awarding grants of up to $2,500 each to teachers across America that can be put towards classroom supplies or National Board Certification.
$100,000 Dream Big Teacher Challenge
Submissions for the 2014 Dream Big Challenge have now closed. Please come back in October to see the finalists and vote for your favorite. Grant proposals are still being accepted for the $2,500 grant program so be sure to visit the proposal submission page.
